Two-Bit ,Steve ,and Ponyboy are down at the gas station drinking some cokes when a three Socs pull up. I mean ,i have had up to here with you guys.

This shows that Ponyboy is intelligent and brave. How is a hero described? Most people describe a hero as someone or something that is always doing good and helping others without being forced. A hero is not someone who is selfish and will not sacrifice everything for the good of others. Malala is a real life hero that is powerful and stands up for what she believes in, even though she knows there will be harsh consequences.

Ponyboy Michael Curtis- This is the main character of the story and is also the the narrator. He is described as having light brown hair and greenish gray eyes. He identifies himself as a greaser because of his style of clothing.

Write an essay explaining why you believe each of the Greasers - Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally - could be considered a hero. Include your own definition of hero in the essay, and be sure to explain how each character, in his own way, meets your definition.

Remember to support your ideas with examples. Ponyboy made good and not to good choices throughout this book that made him be who he is. The text says….. Ponyboys Personal Realizations What is your most important personal realization? In the fiction novel, The Outsiders, author S.

Hinton creates a story in 1st person, about a boy that has a hard life. Ponyboy has some personal realization in his life like how Darry loves and cares about him, Nothing Gold can Stay, and that it is okay to be a greaser. The first personal realization Ponyboy had was that Darry loves and cares about him. When Ponyboy found out that Darry loves him and cares about him.

A hero can be anyone around you. A hero is a person who is strong, has courage, helps others, and does good deeds. Take the greasers from S. Many of them could be considered heroes for their good deeds and heroic personalities. That is why I believe three of the greasers from The Outsiders, Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny, despite looking like criminals, are actually heroes in many ways. To start off, the baddest and toughest of the greasers, a hoodlum and.

Greasers could be considered heroes based off of their actions. One example to support this, was how Darry started working instead of continuing his dream of going to college so that they had enough money to survive.

Lastly, it was very heroic when Ponyboy and Johnny saved the little. E Hinton, Ponyboy tests the bounds of his world, freeing himself from the limitations and prejudices that had been foisted upon him.

As he does so, though, he comes to understand his great responsibility to others. Heroism Heroes are found in every work of art. Whether it is in the television shows we watch, the movies we go to see, the poems and stories we learn about, the books we read, there is always someone or something defined as the hero of that piece.

Is the hero always the good guy who defeats the evil? Or is it something more, something more meaningful. Not every story line has a good vs. In The Outsiders, the greasers proved to be the heroes of the story, not the snobby Socs.

The three greasers that specifically met my standards of a hero were Johnny, Dally, and Ponyboy. My definition of a hero is someone.
