You do not see the pictures unless you click on them. This is not a normal way for users to view pictures. You have tabs for viewing downloaded books, videos, etc.. You mean the camera icon? This does not display photos from the pictures folder. It comes loaded by default and an icon is on one of the home pages, unless someone moved it into a folder, maybe called Amazon or the like.
I keep all my Amazon related stuff in a Folder called "Amazon", thus keeping my home page clean of clutter not used often. Yes, Amazon photos is there, but that is for viewing photos that reside on the Amazon photos cloud, which requires wifi.
Picture you are someplace that does not have wifi access. How do you do this with the Fire tablet? Think of your phone. You have photos stored on your phone. You can view them directly from your phones storage drive. You could be on a plane, a place with bad or no wifi. Steps Connect your camera to your computer.
Access the camera's memory. Copy the photos you want to transfer over to your KindleFire. Locate a folder in your computer where you want to transfer thephotos. Paste the photos. To take a Kindle Fire screenshot , press and holdthe Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time for a second. You'll hear a chime and see a small image of the screenshot appear briefly in the center of the screen. The screenshot is automatically saved to your device's internalstorage.
How to create a new album Open the Amazon Photos app. Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Tap Albums. Tap the New Album icon in the upper center of the screen.
Name the new album and tap Create. The app will automatically open a photo selection window. Tap the photos you wish to add to the album. To view your photos, go to Home, and then tapPhotos. Tap Cloud to see compatible photos stored in your Amazon Driveaccount. Tap Device to see photos taken by the front-facing camera ordownloaded to your Kindle Fire. To navigate the Photos library:. After the photos have beentransferred to your computer from iPhone , then you can use USB cable of your Kindle Fire to plug in yourcomputer and move your photos to Kindle Fire directly.
You can pair your Kindle Fire HD withwireless devices that use Bluetooth technology, such as speakers orkeyboards. On your Kindle Fire , swipe down from the top ofthe screen to show Quick Settings, and then tap Wireless. Next to Enable Bluetooth, tap On. There are several others out there, but the top two free ones are those I've tried out thus far. So now you've learned how to take Kindle Fire pictures and videos!
